In the unusual turn of events where a man is seen just as much a sex symbol as a woman in and out of context, not to exclude the adult entertainment arena, will a man embrace the simple task of to just dance? To be skilled in dance has become a taboo of sorts, label ridden and drenched in satire. Movement has been around for decades, centuries, and years on end and the evolution of the ability has allowed greater expression of one's freedom. But when did it become "uncool" (Superstar by Lupe Fiasco reference) to "get down"?
A man with rhythm is all the desire in pleasure, but a man with rhythm and rhythm more abundantly is an even greater desire in pleasure, but many don't see it this way or have yet to come into their own; own expression. Own freedom. Own confidence. Detailed and extensive fashion of the art of movement to and on rhythm is a gift and may be equally shared, but only to those who desire it. Modern day time and society has placed far too many restrictions on what, when, and where a man may express himself, but none on the woman and this is because of the gross infatuation of women and their bodies.
"What is not commonly projected is commonly rejected." -Randolph Middleton
We (men) have the ability to be just as, if not more, sexually attractive and provocative as women and it does not have to mean that we are not heterosexual. Movement is universal, thus dance is all encompassing. What this world needs is an ultra sexual not afraid of stereotypes and welcomes the thrill to entertain. If we as men would all just dance and dance so well that it is we who embody the same power that we find equally attractive in women as and when they move we could escape the chains that bind us and live free- free to express. Being skilled in an area displays your focus and consistency to that area, thus making you more proficient and capable. Let's leave the "two-step" to the beginners and just dance!
